This week, the New Hampshire Mountain Kings named their leadership corps, announcing the Captains and Alternate Captains for the 2025-26 NAHL Season. Thomas Quast, Rogiero Cacciarelli, and Tanner Anctil became the 4th, 5th, and 6th captains in Mountain Kings history, joining Hunter Fetterolf (2023-24), Oliver Genest (2024-25) and Tommy McDonough (2024-25). Let’s get to know these young men!
The first of a trifecta of Captains, from Forest Lake, Minnesota, is the defenseman Thomas Quast. Quast, a West Point commit, is in his second year with the New Hampshire Mountain Kings. In 2024-25, he played in 54 games and posted 34 points.
The second of the three captains, Valencia, California’s own Rogiero Cacciarelli. Cacciarelli is in his second year with the Mountain Kings, and has posted 9 points this season.
The final member of the trio, is Lewiston native Tanner Anctil, Anctil, who started the 2023-24 season as an original member of the NA3’s Mountain Kings, was called up early in the season to the NAHL team, and never looked back. He’s made the most of that call-up, 94 games at the NAHL level since.
The first of the two Alternate Captains is Exeter native Cole Roenick. Roenick, the nephew of hockey hall of famer Jeremy Roenick, is in his third season with the Mountain Kings. He’s excelled as a hard nosed grinder, punishing the rest of the East division with his thundering hits.
The second of the two Alternate Captains is the Hastings, Minnesota native, Alex Gelhar. Gelhar, in his second season with the Mountain Kings, has had a knack for getting under the skin of opposing players. Mixed with a good scoring touch, he’s a fun player to watch.
Let’s hear it for our Leadership group! Congrats to Rogie, Tanner, Thomas, Alex, and Cole!
